Nikki Glaser Soars In Brown Metallic Platform Pumps for Stylish Appearance on ‘The View’
Nikki Glaser showcased a chic, all-brown look complete with light-reflecting platform pumps for a chat with the ladies of “The View” in New York City on Wednesday.
The comedian, whose stand-up special “Someday You’ll Die” earned her a Golden Globe nomination this year, wore a fitted, chocolate-brown blazer featuring a plunging neckline and embossed gold dome buttons with a coordinating asymmetrical pleated miniskirt. Glaser, who is set to be the host of the 2024 Golden Globes on Jan. 5, topped things off with a classic black wool coat.
On foot, she sported sky-high heels featuring a glistening, cognac-brown patent leather finish, a slinky ankle-strap fastening, and a round closed toe. The towering platform style set on a 4.7-inch stiletto heel is courtesy of Italian brand Alevì.
The performer accessorized with dazzling gold hoop earrings, a selection of sparkly rings, and a brown sequined bag. She carried Staud’s “Timmy Cacao” shoulder bag ($350) covered in acrylic paillettes.

A relatively new footwear brand, Alevì (or Alevì Milano) was founded in 2018 by Valentina Micchetti and Perla Alessandri. A plethora of celebrities have worn shoes from the luxury label recently, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Zoe Saldana, Reese Witherspoon, Eva Longoria, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Nicky Hilton. Their “Camilla” pump is one of the brand’s most popular silhouettes. The strappy “Kiky” sandal embellished with crystal baguettes is also a favorite.
Glaser is no stranger to sporting soaring metallic shoes. At the People’s Choice Awards in 2022, she styled a preppy purple, jewel-embellished mini dress with shimmery silver platform sandals. The stand-up star has also been known to wear platform styles on stage during her “Alive & Unwell” tour, making it likely she’ll wear them during her Golden Globes hosting gig. A glance at her Instagram profile will also tell you she’s a fan of slouchy knee-high boots, white sneakers, and strappy sandals.
