Olivia Wilde Keeps Casual in Fan-Favorite Adidas’ Samba OG Sneakers While Running Errands in Los Angeles

Olivia Wilde was spotted in casual wears seemingly running errands in Los Angeles yesterday.
Sticking to her roots, the “Don’t Worry Darling” actress opted for a classic, donning her favorite brand Adidas. Wilde’s pick, the Samba OG sneakers, retail for $100 via Net-A-Porter. The athletic silhouette featured mixed leather and textural suede uppers detailed with the brand’s signature three stripes in contrasting black accompanied by cotton lace-up closures and non-slip rubber soles.
Sambas and Adidas branding can be seen throughout the shoe, embossed on the uppers and on the tongue in contrasting blue lettering. Adidas Originals’ Samba OG sneaker debuted in the ’50s and was created as a low-profile soccer shoe meant for sportier endeavors.
These days, the shoe can be seen just about everywhere, worn with everything from dressy slacks to denim. From models to actors, a slew of top stars favor the Samba silhouette including Dakota Johnson, Emily Ratajkow, Olivia Rodrigo, Katie Holmes and Gigi Hadid, among others.

Keeping the lowkey vibes alive, the “House” star donned a brown tweed blazer in an oversized style partnered with a crisp white graphic tee, successfully offsetting the formal nature of her outerwear. On the bottom, Wilde brought the color in mustard yellow jeans with a slightly flared hem. As for accessories, the director went the timeless route, sporting chunky black sunglasses fixed with gold accents accompanied by a large brown leather tote.
When it comes to shoes, Wilde tends to go the glamorous route on the red carpet. The “House” star regularly opts for metallic and embellished heeled sandals and elevated platforms for formal appearances, hailing from top brands like Gucci, Christian Louboutin, Casadei and Jimmy Choo, among others. Off-duty, Wilde is often more casual, slipping on a variety of Adidas sneakers, Steve Madden slippers and Lucchese ankle boots over the years.
