Jae Tips x Saucony Originals ‘To Do List’

After delivering the FNAA Collaboration of the Year in 2023, Jae Tips and Saucony Originals continued to prove in 2024 that they are a perfect pair. Much like their first collab, Jae Tips reimagined Saucony’s lifestyle running sneakers in bright hues for “To Do List,” which featured two colorways of the ProGrid Omni 9 sneaker for adults and matching Shadow 6000s for kids. This collaboration was the first time Jae Tips and Saucony Originals teamed up on shoes for kids.

Extra Butter x Brooks Cascadia 18

Brooks and Extra Butter delivered one of the more compelling collaborations of 2024, bringing streetwear style to a functional trail runner. The New York-based boutique’s take on the Cascadia 18 — Brooks’ longest-running trail running franchise — featured eye-catching splash graphics on the upper and was predominantly dressed in blue and gray with an electric green hue on the vamp, outsole and laces.

A Ma Maniére x Jordan Brand, Nike and Converse ‘While You Were Sleeping’

To celebrate its 10-year anniversary, A Ma Maniére teamed up with Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse on the six-shoe “While You Were Sleeping” collection. The range featured three Jordan Brand models (Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 39), two Nike looks (Air Force 1, Air Max 95) and the Converse Weapon Low. The six-shoe collection is the second time Nike Inc. worked with a collaborator on its three brands, the first being Virgil Abloh and “The Ten” that released in 2017.

Nike KD 17 ‘Producer Pack’

Kevin Durant knows a thing or two when it comes to hip-hop. In the past, the two-time NBA champion has paired his love for rap music — specifically, the masterminds who create the instrumentals — with his Nike signature basketball shoe franchise, and he revisited this concept once again with the KD 17 in 2024. For this year’s “Producer Pack,” Durant teamed up with three of the genre’s best: The Alchemist, Bink! and Metro Boomin.

J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 ‘Rio’

J Balvin’s fourth collaboration with Jordan Brand was a sentimental one. The megastar recording artist dressed the iconic Air Jordan 3 predominantly in black leather and added bold Solar Flare and Total Crimson hues to provide contrast. The collaborative look was named after his son, Rio, and was inspired by the stunning sunsets in his hometown Medellín, Colombia.

Bad Bunny x Adidas Gazelle Indoor ‘San Juan’

Adidas Originals’ partnership with superstar recording artist Bad Bunny continues to produce hits. Most notably, they teamed up to deliver the Gazelle Indoor “San Juan” in June, a new interpretation of the brand’s classic Gazelle style. The look, which is highlighted by its unique take on the T-toe, celebrates the Noche de San Juan, an annual celebration in his native Puerto Rico on June 23 for the birth of Saint John the Baptist.

Kith x Marvel x Asics 85th Anniversary ‘Super Villains’ Collection

For Kith’s third collaboration with Marvel — which included footwear with Asics — the Ronnie Fieg-led brand not only celebrated the iconic superheroes, but it also paid homage to the villains you love to hate. Fieg and Kith reimagined several classic Asics running shoes for the range, including the GT-2160 (Spider-Man and Venom), the GT-2160 (Green Goblin), the Gel-Kayano 14 (Silver Surfer) and the Gel-1130 (Magneto).

Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R ‘Rosewater’

Action Bronson, the renaissance man of rap, delivered one of the year’s best collaborations, the New Balance 1906R “Rosewater.” This specific collaboration— one of three on the silhouette that New Balance and Action Bronson released this year — is dressed in several eye-catching hues, including fuchsia, orange, green and blue. And for those in the know, the tongue reads Baklava, a nod to one of the rapper’s many nicknames.

Makeway x Nike ‘Party-6000’

Makeway delivered its first-ever Nike collaboration in 2024, and the Toronto retailer’s debut was a good one. The ownership duo of Abby Albino and Shelby Weaver, who also have careers in basketball, tapped into the sport they love for the “Party-6000” collaboration — specifically paying homage to the WNBA and basketball legend Vince Carter. The bold color palette, consisting of white, blue and orange, made the shoe stand out, as well as its premium execution that included elevated leather and 3M reflective hits.

Unheardof x Adidas Rivalry Low ‘Building Bridges’

With the “Building Bridges” Adidas Rivalry Low, Unheardof founder Philip Lipschutz shared the third chapter of his story. The collaboration is not only replete with nods to the John A.
